Hillary’s Russia-gate dossier fiction leads former Trump advisor, Carter Page to sue DoJ, FBI and James Comey for $75 million

We hope he deposes Hillary . . .

Carter Page files $75M suit against FBI, DOJ, others over ‘unlawful surveillance’

“Carter Page on Friday sued the Justice Department, the FBI and former FBI Director James Comey for $75 million, insisting he was unlawfully surveilled as part of the 2017 special counsel investigation into so-called Russian collusion.

The 59-page lawsuit, filed Friday in Washington, DC, the federal court additionally sues former FBI Assistant Director Andrew McCabe and FBI lovebirds Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.

Also named as plaintiffs are former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith, who this year pleaded guilty to falsifying an e-mail that was used by the FBI to obtain a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant to monitor Page.” . . . (more)

. . . The FBI had a wiretap on him for a year as a suspected recruitment target of Russian intelligence agents.
The FBI’s suspicions were based in part on allegations contained in the infamous dossier prepared by Christopher Steele and paid for by Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

  1. James Howard Kunstler –
“If you want to grok the awesome failure of authority these Fourth Turning crack-up years in America, start with the lawlessness at the Department of Justice and its sociopathic step-child, the FBI, along with a demonic host of intel agencies seeded throughout the national government: the CIA, the NSA, the DIA, the DHS, and even the lowly crypto-public US Postal Service, lately enlisted to spy on US citizens’ social media posts.

Who is supposed to rein-in these freewheeling rogues? I’ll tell you: the courts and the judges appointed to them. The problem is especially acute in the federal courts where, for instance, Judge James Boasberg allowed the FBI to lie repeatedly on warrant applications to his FISA court, and Judge Emmet G. Sullivan hung General Mike Flynn out to dry even after the DOJ had to admit misconduct in his prosecution — and the DC Court of Appeals failed to enforce the DOJ’s reluctant decision to finally drop charges.”

  2. James Howard Kunstler = ” … John Durham is back in the news. The captive news media — that is, the mainstream orgs owned by the Intel Community — put stories out last week that the RussiaGate special prosecutor has actually made some trips to the grand jury. That implies some kind of criminal prosecution. Their spin was that he had only netted a few small-fry, characters mostly outside government such as Igor Danchenko of the Brookings Institution, said to be the chief source for Christopher Steele’s nefarious “dossier.” Don’t believe it. Durham is going for the sharks and whales: Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, John Brennan, Bruce and Nellie Ohr… and, really, how can James Comey be excluded from that gang, since he was running it?”

  3. Attorney linked to Hillary Clinton campaign indicted in Durham Russia origins probe

“The case against Michael Sussmann, a cybersecurity lawyer at powerful Democratic firm Perkins Coie, is just the second prosecution brought by special counsel John Durham, who was tasked by then-Attorney General Bill Barr in May 2019 with looking into the origins of the FBI’s investigation into claims Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign coordinated with Russian government officials.”
